  Madrone is apparently San Franciscan for “Phase 2 of Radiance at Mission Bay.” Madrone will be the new development behind Radiance in Mission Bay. Madrone by Bosa offers a new selection of residential condominiums in San Francisco's Mission Bay. The San Francisco version of Madrone will be a 205-unit tower. The project was always designed with additional homes coming in a phase 2, (Bosa has developed plans for 1,700 total homes in Mission Bay) but construction for phase 2 was halted in the fall of 2008 (the piles were already driven and they were ready to pour concrete) after slow sales of the already completed phase 1 homes.
  
  Madrone Mission Bay will house a variety of floor plans with both a towers and mid-rise component. Madrone condominiums and townhomes are expected to be completely new floor plans and configurations. Amenities at Madrone will include a fitness center, landscaped courtyard, communal lounge with kitchen, gated parking, new rooftop deck with fire pit, and barbeque area. New amenities expected at Madrone are a swimming pool and spa. Select Madrone homes will have views of the bay and city; other homes will have terraces and balconies. No word yet about pricing, amenities, or finishes for homes at the Madrone, but the sales center will be opening this year at 201 King Street and the website is now up and running, so a 2012 move-in date seems plausible.
